The LIT LOUNGE is the ZOOM version of our community performance space for writers to share their work with a live audience. The ZOOM readings enable us to include our international writers and audience.
An invited writer reads from new work, there is a brief Q & A and then an Open Mic.

SWERVE is thrilled to present author ALI McGUIRE who will read her short story, THE INVISIBLE WOMAN, together with a selection of poetry.
ABOUT
ALI McGUIRE is a writer and creative writing teacher who lives in south County Wicklow.
She was a 2024 Novel Fair finalist and has been a grateful recipient of mentorship and funding from the IWC and Arts Council. Ali’s writing has found publication in The Irish Independent and literary journals including Apricot Press, SWERVE Magazine, Sans. PRESS, and Frazzled. Ali’s relationship with writing is not always sweetness and light and, through her workshops, she encourages discussion around how we build and maintain resilience and self-belief. When she’s not writing, you’ll find Ali in the sea, the garden, or a bookshop.
